Sheikh Saoud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah

Shaikh Saoud Salem Abdulaziz AlSabah was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) in November 2022 and assumed the role of Managing Director in November 2024.

He brings extensive experience in business development across diverse sectors, including investments, consumer services, and information technology.

In addition to his responsibilities as a Board Member and Managing Director of KIA, Shaikh AlSabah serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee at KIA and as a key member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Previously, he held executive positions at privately held firms and worked as an Associate for the Middle East and Africa region at BlackRock.

Shaikh AlSabah holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University and is a CFA charterholder.
